“A Creative Approach” Towards
Solving a Difficult Problem

Event: Zoning non-conformities which required a defined architectural solution.

Solution: The current zoning regulations required exterior façade modifications to ensure conformity with the city by-laws for this noted downtown corner site at the intersection of Crescent Street and DeMaisonneuve Boulevard.  We collaborated with city officials on many levels during the process.  Applying an innovative vision, the re-design transforms the existing building into a stunning architectural concept while simultaneously resolving all zoning issues.

  • ‘Legal’ Interface – Collaboration with legal advisors and city officials on all levels to resolve zoning and design issues.
  • Architectural – Preparation of architectural plans for City of Montreal and CCU approvals.
  • Construction and Occupancy Permits – ‘Simultaneous’ procurement of construction and tenant occupancy permits.
